Assignment 10: 
Packaging design is generally overlooked when it comes to graphic design.  Clients assume their product is already in demand, that the customer knows what they want, and all that needs to be done is to make the sale at the cash register. 
Nothing could be further from the truth.
How you differentiate your product from all the "noise" in the consumer field is critical.  How do you package, market, and get your product into the minds and ultimately the hands of your target audience?  How do you make your product (in this case, pizza) so unique and desirable from your competitor(s) that people with think of YOU first and make that call?
The assignment:
Each of you will design and market a brand of pizza.  You can create your own (no pun intended) complete with label, logo, and advertising, or you can take a tried and true brand and update the logo and marketing direction.  What you will end up with is a logo, a package design (box, bag, whatever you decide to have the pizza taken away in), and an ad, outdoor billboard, television commercial, or other form of marketing.
Each phase of this project will be graded.  You will be turning in TWO concepts for your pizza.  Concepts to be finalized not later than Monday, 2/5/18.
